Lets Catch Up

Hey its been awhile, lots happening and not happening. Here is a little bit of a catch up. So I got laid off and spent a year at home, which by the way was the happiest and healthiest I have been in like 25 years. I so enjoyed being home working on my art and the business of it. Being able to do what I wanted when I wanted. I have to tell you that not being told when you eat, start work, finish work or even when and how many times you can pee is soo life changing. When did we as humans give up our control and lives to work at a desk all day.

Anyway, I was using the whole universe has got me, I am good & I was doing okay till one day someone mentioned it wasn’t normal and I should be working a real job and earning a real wage (what the heck is that anyways) and I panicked and everything changed. So off to work I went. I got a day job, wasn’t fond of it but people were okay.

I made my goals for this year 2018 and one of them was work from home, so I wrote that down and placed on fridge, low and behold I got offered a work from home job. It was doing something I hate but I figured I will be home, I can do more art, use my commute time that didn’t exist anymore. Oh MY, toxic company and Toxic people, in 3 months half the company has gone. It is interfering with my creation of art, having a dry spell, but I think its almost over, I am talking to the universe again and putting positive vibes out there, plus a lot of motivation and hard work.

Morale of this story, don’t lose sight of your dreams, don’t let anyone tell you what is and isn’t a ‘real job’ Being an artist is a real job and I am off to write that on the fridge.
